The original pedestal sink was replaced with a custom vanity, under-mounted sink, and a wall-mounted faucet, which added hidden storage and much needed counter space.  The original tub, drain and shower rod were refinished to their former glory.  The tub/shower walls were surrounded in new subway tile accented with opalescent mosaic glass tile, a design repeated in the sink backsplash.  A custom natural cherry wood cabinet with glass doors was installed at the end of the tub, transforming a cluttered and poorly utilized space into a beautiful and functional storage area.  The original broken floor tiles were replaced with two different colors of period-appropriate and low-maintenance Marmoleum flooring.
