A native Oregonian, Peg Christensen founded Ash Pierce Design in 2008, building on her years of experience as a designer and then co-owner at other local design firms. Her firm provides residential and commercial clients with a full range of interior design and space planning services in the Portland-Metro area.

Ash Pierce Design has the capacity and industry relationships to manage the entire design process from initial concept to full build-out. Peg thrives in challenging new construction and renovation environments, and also enjoys assisting clients with smaller scale design projects such as color consultations, custom furnishings, and space planning. Clients praise Peg’s ability to deliver creative design solutions while being mindful of established budgets.

Peg grew up in Canada, and studied fine art at the University of Victoria, British Columbia. Coming back to the Northwest, she earned a degree in Physical Anthropology from Portland State University. Peg has been a wildlife biologist and a zookeeper (so can handle most any construction issue!), and even studied whales and birds in the Antarctic.
